Hyaluronic Acid
These are filler injections. They are recommended in patients of all ages. This is offered as a solution to wrinkles and the prevention of their appearance.
When we age, the amount of hyaluronic acid in our skin decrease, our cells lose the reproduction capacity progressively. We also lose with age the molecular weight of hyaluronic acid, so we are unable of retain water in our skin. We can see this process when we pick our skin with the fingers. In young people the skin go back to the original position quick, when we age and we are older, the recuperation of the skin decrease… This reduction in the volume of the skin is what cause wrinkles.
Is no needed an allergy test, we inject in the skin the product, that interact naturally with our tissues without reacting, without alteration of the characteristics of our skin. It has a beneficial effect hydrating our skin and giving us the volume that we also lose with age. So it actually refills our tissues.
There have been negative effects and allergies only in a 3% of the patients. So we don’t recommend this product to people that already has an allergy to chicken or eggs.
The hyaluronic acid is a product that we have naturally in our body. Is the product that they use in a laboratory for biosynthesis, you don’t need an allergy test before you start the treatment.
The hyaluronic acid is a product that is used in different amounts and densities for a lot of different treatments:
To have a face more smooth, young and with more light we use hialuronic acid with vitamins and we inject them in the skin. This way we hydrated the face and we have a great look.
- Hyaluronic acid in low density (AHBD): Is used to get rid of fine lines of expression and small wrinkles.
- Hyaluronic acid in medium density (AHMD): Indicated for strong and deep wrinkles, and also to give more volume to our lips, cheeks, and the oval of the face.
- Hyaluronic acid in high density (AHAD): Is used as a temporal implant for our cheeks, chin. Is also used as an alternative to a definitive implant in the breast, gluteus, and remodeling of corporal volume.
You can see immediately the results of this treatment, the duration of the effects depends in the area that you treat, normally is from 6 months to a year. After this time, if we desire to maintain the results, we’ll need to repeat the treatment again.
