In most of the cases it is located at the same level as the cheek, to give more volume. Then the stitches are made of a re absorbable material. The implants have a specific shape and size that change from one patient to other.

Technical Information:
It consists in placing an implant directly on the jawbone, through a small incision in the oral mucus just above the superior gumline inside the mouth.

Postop period:
During the first days certain swelling and haematomas will be present, these will progressively disappear. Stitches are removed after 10-15 days or they progressively dissolve.
Aftercare:
During the first few days the patient’s activities and diet is restricted. There will be a certain limitation in smiling, talking and moving the mouth.
