FUE Hair Graft

The FUE technique is a young hair surgery technique, in full development, devised with one main goal: to avoid scarring in the posterior (donor) area of ​​the scalp.

Around the year 2001, a new hair transplant technique emerged called the FUE technique (Follicular Unit extraction) .

There is no scar left because we did not make any incisions. The patient can decide the number of follicles that he is interested in extracting and implanting at a given time, while in the strip the scar is the same regardless of its thickness.

We have decided to do sessions of a maximum of 12 hours or a maximum of 1500 follicles, being able to do the necessary sessions on successive days: (3000 in two days, or 4500 in three days).

This technique has been performed for four years in clinics in the USA, CANADA, GREECE, AUSTRALIA and SPAIN. Its results have been presented at International Medical Conferences and Seminars (ISHRS – International Society Of Hair Restoration Surgery) and its effects have been examined and studied in depth.

Technique

In essence, the FUE Technique is very simple, it consists of the extraction one by one of the follicles from the donor area, instead of extracting a complete strip. To do this, certain types of circular titanium micro-scalpels are used, with a diameter of 0.6 to 0.8 mm, with which they manage to extract intact hair follicles of 1, 2 or 3 hairs each, which are preserved in cold serum, until they we are entering the final phase of implanting them in the recipient area.

The incisions are so insignificant that they heal completely in a period of time between 24 to 48 hours, without leaving any scar and the patient's donor area remains intact for future extractions.
