The best result are on:

These areas have fully grown, thick very pigmented hair from puberty onwards.

In these areas:
 Gluteus
 Forearm
 Thighs

The hair in these areas is finer so the results are not so pronounced as with the thicker hair on groin and armpits. If the hair is too fine in these areas the depilation treatment is not recommended.

Usually the hair in these areas is of intermediate type which is thinner and less pigmented. Normally requires more sessions.

The so called androgen-dependent areas are:

 Areola
 Alba line
 Neckline
 Cleavage
 Lumbar region

On these areas even if the results are satisfactory, we cannot guarantee a permanent depilation.
For successful depilation the treatment must be done in an early phase (growing phase). The follicles in the categen phase (regression phase) and in the telogen phase ( resting phase) will not be affected by the laser radiation.

The effectitiveness of the laser depilation depends on various factors:

 Stages of the follicular cycle
 Thickness, colour, hair depth
 Skin colour
 Hormonal state

Best results will be obtained in:

 Thick hair, which absorbs more energy than fine hair
 Black hair, brown and chesnut
 It is not effective on white hair, blond or red hair, because they have no melanin.
 The greater the density of hair per square centimeter the more sessions are needed.
 Patients with pale skin and dark hair obtain the best results.
 Laser depilation using the right technology achieves a reduction of close to a 100% body hair in non hormonal dependant areas.
