The frontal lift is a cosmetic surgery that reduces wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows and raises the forehead, eliminating the sad, tired or angry appearance.
Unlike other facelifts, the forehead lift is used to improve the drooping of the eyebrows on the eyelids and correct wrinkles on the forehead.
This cosmetic surgery allows the deep wrinkles of the forehead and between the eyebrows, correcting the ptosis (droop) of the eyebrows that causes a closure of the upper eyelid and, in part, improving the wrinkles of the ‘crow’s feet’.
It is very common for the frontal lift to be associated with a facelift, with Blepharoplasty or with Resurfacing.
Thanks to the use of the endoscope in these aesthetic operations, the scars have been reduced to small cuts that are hidden among the hair.
Anesthesia can be local when the frontal lift is not linked to other aesthetic surgeries, and consequently the intervention is ambulatory. The postoperative period lasts between 2 and 3 weeks, there is swelling and there may be bruises that gradually disappear.
