Body peeling

Prepare your skin for subsequent treatments, such as moisturizers. It consists of an exfoliation of its most superficial layer, eliminating dead cells and traces of sweat that can suffocate it.

Within body treatments, peeling or exfoliation has emerged as one of the most important when it comes to treating our skin and keeping it young and smooth.

The aim of peeling is, above all, to purify and oxygenate the skin, preparing it for any other type of treatment that follows, be it hydration, anti-cellulite or firming treatment .

Dead cells are removed by performing superficial desquamation, and thus, the skin will better receive the active ingredients and the treatments will be more effective.

The skin is renewed every 28 days, but pollution, the continued use of creams and make-up, and sweat slow down this process and clog pores; hence the importance of a good body exfoliation if we want the skin to continue looking radiant and healthy for a long time. Thanks to peeling, in addition to the aesthetic purpose, we will ensure that the skin does not become dehydrated and we will eliminate possible spots produced by the passage of time or by prolonged exposure to sunlight.

There are many products for body peeling, mainly creams or gels with a solid agent that removes impurities, since they are applied with friction movements.

The product is then generally removed with lukewarm water or with a sponge, and the skin achieves an even and smoother tone, ready to be treated. We have an example when sunbathing or using self-tanning products; the skin must be previously exfoliated so that the active ingredients penetrate more effectively, and so that the skin has a uniform and beautiful tone. Otherwise, we will find areas that are darker than others, flaky and irregular.

In the case of sensitive skin, minimally invasive products should be used, performing a gentle massage for brief moments; Usually used for these cases oils with small particles, of vegetable origin and that respect the dermis. For example, a widely used product for peeling sensitive skin is the one made up of Monoï oil, pink clay and polyethylene spheres. This oil is highly appreciated in cosmetics, especially to care for sensitive and dehydrated skin after exposure to the sun and wind.
